Courses

I create short on-line courses on a range of subjects. These allow you to study at your own pace. You can check out my videos on the course pages to find out more.

You can access my mini-course on blending herbal teas on the National Centre for Integrative Medicine website, costing £25. This contains all the instruction you need to get you started and includes helpful downloads. Go onto the site to see my introductory video if you wish.

If you are thinking about setting up a health-based or therapy-based business, I’ve also a short course there that takes you from “seed to start-up”, and is all about boosting your confidence. Click here to learn more about “how to start up a health business“.

The final shortie that I offer is only £10 and will get you started in searching for and using health and medical research papers. It would be useful for any practitioner, student or anyone interested in evidence. There is a section on artificial intelligence too. Click here to learn more about “exploring the evidence“.

Course design

The courses use the Thinkific platform which is excellent. If you click to enrol, you will set up an account so you can save your course and go back to it. It is accessible on a PC or mobile phone. All of my courses come with hand-outs for you to download, and give you lots of questions and prompts to help you think about your learning.

Course creation

I would love to talk with you if you are considering developing a course. I’ve a background in teaching, specialising in online learning. I’d help you think about who your learners are, how they like to learn (the pedagogy), how you would like them to connect with you or each other, and also assessments. If you would like your course accredited I have done that too and worked with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Institute of Biomedical Science, Crossfields, and other accrediting and quality-assuring bodies.
